Nvidia has posted record quarterly revenue of $96.2 billion, more than double the figure a year earlier, as demand for artificial-intelligence hardware showed little sign of easing. Its data-centre business generated roughly $89 billion, up about 117 percent.
Earnings reached $2.22 per share, and Nvidia guided to revenue of around $108 billion for the current quarter, though shares slipped about 1.8 percent as investors weighed lofty expectations.
The scale of the data-centre revenue reflects an intensifying race among the world’s largest technology companies to assemble ever-larger clusters of AI accelerators.
Analysts continue to question how long such growth can persist as customers explore custom silicon, though Nvidia has entrenched its lead by pairing hardware with software.
