Lego Keeps Building on Its Global Toy Dominance

Lego, the family owned company based in Billund, remains the world’s largest toymaker, sustaining growth even as much of the wider toy market has struggled.

The brand has expanded through licensing, adult focused sets and a growing digital presence, while keeping its plastic brick at the centre.

Lego has also invested heavily in efforts to make its bricks from more sustainable materials.

The company is one of Denmark’s best known businesses and a pillar of its home region of Jutland.
