Coloplast Reshuffles Its Executive Leadership Team

Coloplast, the Danish medical device company, has announced changes to its executive leadership team. Amanda Rajkumar is joining as chief people officer, bringing three decades of international human resources experience from firms including adidas and BNP Paribas.

The appointment took effect at the start of September. Rajkumar’s arrival adds senior experience in people and organisation to the leadership of a company that employs thousands across its global operations.

In a related move, Fertram Sigurjonsson is shifting from leading the wound and tissue repair business to a new position as chief innovation and technology advisor, effective immediately.

In his new role, Sigurjonsson will focus on advancing the company’s innovation efforts, particularly in biologics, advanced wound care, and emerging technologies. Chief executive Gavin Wood will temporarily oversee the wound and tissue repair business during the transition.

Coloplast has grown into one of Denmark’s larger healthcare companies, with products used in hospitals and homes around the world. The leadership changes come as the firm looks to strengthen both its organisation and its pipeline.
