Meenakshi began her journey from Mrs. Southeast Texas in May 2024 to Mrs. Elite Texas UNIVERSE 2025.
Unlikely Inception
Meenakshi’s entry into the world of pageantry was fortuitous. Recognized by Tracy Iverson Christ from Mrs. Texas Pageant, she was encouraged to participate and won the title of Mrs. Southeast Texas. Supported by MyDreamTVUSA and mentored by Rashmi Bedi, Janak Bedi, Surya Bedi, and coaches Michelle Ellen and Zakia Deen Quaderi, Meenakshi’s journey has been one of growth and achievement.
A Heart for Service
Beyond her pageant success, community service defines Meenakshi’s passion. Her advocacy for education and work with children has earned her several accolades, including the Mrs. Texas 2024 Brand Ambassador Award, Community Award, and Social Media Award. She was also recognized in the Texas House of Representatives and nominated for the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
Beyond the Pageant Stage
Outside of pageantry, Meenakshi serves as a brand ambassador for Hidden Hill watches and Cocoberry. She also shares her love of dance by teaching in her community on a non-profit basis. Her influence extends to an Amazon Prime reality show, courtesy of Terrance L. Shaw, and her presence on the red carpet with Boss Up Network T underscores her rising stardom.

Meenakshi’s international reach continues to expand as she prepares to showcase her talent at prestigious events such as New York Fashion Week, Runway 7, LA Fashion Week, Vegas Fashion Week, and London Fashion Week. Grooming Young Talents
Committed to nurturing young talent, Meenakshi judged the Aquaboom Scholarship Pageant, awarding a $7,000 scholarship to young participants. She also judged Model of the Year for the International Cinderella Pageant, helping aspiring models become their best selves.
A Featured Model and Guest on a Podcast
Meenakshi graced the cover of Fashion Republic in the Star Edition in July 2024 and has been featured in European magazines like Artego and Artell. She shared her journey on the HighFeels podcast, available on Apple, Google, Amazon Music, and Spotify, and has appeared on 98.7 Dakshin Radio.
Champion for Philanthropy
Philanthropy is a driving force for Meenakshi, motivated by personal experiences. She is the brand ambassador for the Good Karma Foundation and Cy-Hope, working to empower less privileged children. Her involvement extends to Rosenberg Helping Hands and Katy Responds. Her collaboration with Houston Millennials, owned by Ivan Sanchez, resulted in successful fundraising for Pasadena girls whose scholarships were denied. This effort was recognized by Council member Emmanuel Guerrero and covered by Fox36, CW38, and KHOU News.
A Personal Quest to Create Change
Meenakshi’s advocacy began with her own childhood experiences of financial hardship. Assisted by the Dr. K.K. Nirmala Convent Sister organization, her life transformed, leading her to inspire young women to pursue their dreams. She won an award for public speaking at SRM University and was a Guest of Honor at the 2024 Texas Youth Summit. Her non-profit work includes teaching Bollywood and freestyle dance to empower women.
Living Her Philosophy
At the core of Meenakshi’s efforts is her mantra: "Live and Let Live." From walking in cancer awareness events presented by MyDreamTVUSA to serving veterans with Houston Millennials and VFW Auxiliary Post 8790, she exemplifies a life of service and purpose. Her Summer Bonanza program for underserved students and mentorship through Cy-Hope further demonstrate her commitment to nurturing young talent.
