Anastasia Schipanova: The Visionary Model and Artist Redefining Modern Art and Eternal Life
Anastasia Schipanova is a very innovative personality in the world of art. Leaving mostly between romantic Paris and extremely active New York, being an international top model and popular modern artist at the same time, her journey indeed seems out of this world. Such uncommon visualisation with art, together with towering presence in the fashion world, creates a reputable visionary whose gifts can change perceptions and move people forward.
Anastasia was born into this love of the world's beauty, nurtured during a childhood aboard her father's boat. This contact with nature developed into a deep interest in metaphysics, psychology, and the laws of the universe-all in all, themes that centralize her art. At 16, Anastasia started two major directions: modeling and painting. It was only when she finally got signed on with the prestigious modeling agency Modus Vivendis that her career kicked off. This saw her doing high-profile fashion shoots and catwalks in several shows, including Paris Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week, and New York Fashion Week.
Anastasia describes her art as being "Energy Abstract” and it most definitely does push the boundaries of modern expression. She uses oil and canvas as a medium for artworks. The bright colors and dynamic movement within her paintings create a deep emotional response to challenge her audience for an inner world. She discovered the art world and learned art skills at Zurab Tsereteli’s master classes. The lemniscus, or infinity sign, which became her signature in 2018, nods to the sciences in which she is interested and the boundless possibilities of human knowledge. Among the most prestigious places, she has showcased her works in International Tokyo Art Fire, 58th Biennale di Venice, Monte-Carlo Polo Club Federation and more.
Apart from being a star of the arts, Anastasia develops fashion in the world. Anastasia was on the covers of such magazines as Harper's Bazaar Bulgaria, W Magazine, Magic Image Hollywood, Simodex, Russian Beauty and others. In 2023, her model career went to another level after the signing of an exclusive contract with international agency Model&Model, after which she had been considered one of the best models.
All these additional awards and accolades support Anastasia's huge influence and her immense talent. She was awarded "Best Artist of the Year" in the Fashion TV Awards back in 2017, followed by the "MODERN ART" category in 2018 for The Beautiful People Awards. Later on that year, she became "Artist of the Year" in Moscow at the Fashion People's Awards. In 2019, she received a prize "WOMAN ART" from the Woman's Essence Show, running concurrently with the Concomitant 58th Biennale di Venice. She continued winning in the International Art Prize Michelangelo 2019 in Rome and later the Art Prize New York City 2020. In 2020 and 2023, she was included in the top 60 Art Masters by Art Tour International. So far, "Eternal Life" is the biggest undertaking by Anastasia; related to a scientific and psychological art venture, its objective is to extend the life span of a human being. The project has created ripples of interest, especially from the bigger audience, as a billboard of "Eternal Life" that aired riveted attention to Nasdaq at Times Square in New York on December 2023. Anastasia believes with the help of art in collaboration with science, humanity will gain a more positive and meaningful existence. Instead, the works she has done depict not just beautiful works of art but challenge others to deeply ponder over the future, health, and longevity. She graduated university as a psychologist and believes that people will live forever in the future, this idea inspired her. Anastasia says we have to hope and do something to make our life as long as possible already now, it will change consciousness in the right way, and spend time more happy and healthy in general.
Anastasia is considering continuing her twin career of modeling and art.
